The heart of San Francisco’s most historic neighborhood, The Mission, is the home of one of it’s newest additions: The Alamo Drafthouse, the revamped version of the original Mission Theater. The Alamo (from Texas, of course) combines food, drinks and film. It has something for everyone.

For foodies, there is the flavorful medium-rare burger at the top of the second jeopardy act for the protagonist.

For movie buffs, there are new movies as well as classics (and re-inventions of the classics).

Customized food and cocktails menus, including for the most recent Marvel franchise, highlight film themes and provide a playful element. The service is cheery at the outset and unobtrusive during the show — makes you wonder if the staff have superpowers of their own.
